Internet Marketing Made Easy with Tips from “The Power Promoter” Matt Bacak

(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 10, 2008 ) Suwanee, GA – Many internet marketers have questions about setting up and using their Auto-responder. They want to know the most effective way to manage content regarding their Internet business.

Question #1: How many messages should they have in an Auto-responder sequence? There is no specific number. They want to have as many as they can feasibly create. If they can line up 50 messages thatÂ’s great! They need to keep adding messages to their sequence otherwise their e-mail subscribers won't hear from them again. If they set up your Auto-responder correctly then you are essentially automating their profit.

Question #2: What types of message should they send in their Auto-responder sequence? They can send email messages that just remind their customers of their product or services, sales letters, announcements, etc. to keep subscribers up to date. If they are ambitious they could have an Auto-responder set up for two years. Of course, they will have to go back in now and then to tweak the messages. They should strive to set up a campaign that goes automatically for 6 months, hitting their customer list every 5-7 days with e-mail messages down the road. It helps their customers to remember them.

Question #3: Should they change the format between articles and e-mails? Should they use the same copy or modify it? They need to be able to repurpose content. Content is King on the Internet. The more content they have the more articles they can send out, market to people, etc.
The same article can be repurposed and used a few different ways. The articles and e-mails will have the same premise: a summary, content and keyword. The reason they can send the same content to their list is that they will most likely not have read the article they submit to the Internet directories so it is okay and beneficial to repurpose content.

Another example of repurposing content is to create an audio CD, then write articles from the CD and send e-mails based on the articles. This is fine because it will be used to always market to new or different audiences. Marketers don't have to worry that the same person will see the same content several times.
