In these positions, Dr. Preuss will guide Chromatin’s scientific research and business development. Dr. Preuss is the co-founder of Chromatin Inc. and an inventor on Chromatin’s patented mini-chromosome technology, which facilitates gene stacking and enables the production of a wide range of commercially valuable products in crops. In 2000, Chromatin acquired an exclusive license for mini-chromosome technology, developed in Dr. Preuss’ research laboratory at the University of Chicago. Since the company’s founding, Dr. Preuss has played an active role in advising the company on the development of its technology.
