 (EMAILWIRE.COM, November 23, 2011 ) New York, NY -- Syndicate is a first-person shooter game with RPG elements that pays tribute to a fan favorite from 1993. The original Syndicate game was more about strategy, allowing players to control four agents. The new version of the game also features four player co-op missions with chip-enhanced gameplay that takes the player on nine missions.
Syndicate takes place in the year 2069 where mega corporations rule the world and will stop at nothing to eliminate their competition. Players take on the role of agents who are well trained operatives with implanted chips that give them superhuman abilities. The mega corporations send their agents on missions to steal advanced technology and kill anyone who gets in the way. There are similarities to the original Syndicate video game, but more noticeable differences.
Additional features that make this game worth checking out is the playerÂ’s ability to collect loot. Breach an armored enemy and players can boost their own brain chip, stolen brain chips allows the acquisition of more gun parts to be added to the arsenal. The chip enhanced gameplay allows players to slow down time, see through walls and more. EA announced that the official Syndicate release date will be on February 21, 2011 in North America and three days later in Europe for PC, XBox 360 and PS3.
