Eden essays the important role of Victoria Grayson, wife of top Army general Hugh Grayson played by co-star Robert Forster. The episode focuses on Army base intrigues seen through the eyes of competing military wives. The ranking 3-star general must decide which of his officers he’ll promote to the high position of Post Commander. Based on the Tanya Biank-authored book “Under the Sabers: The Unwritten Code of Army Wives,” the Sunday night show was created by Katherine Fugate, who is also one of the writers. Shooting in Charleston, South Carolina, the new series averages 3.6 million viewers and is the top rated original show in Lifetime’s 23-year history. It’s also the number one new cable drama this season in key women demos. The cast’s continuing stars are Kim Delaney, Catherine Bell, Sally Pressman, Brigid Brannagh, Brian McNamara, Sterling K.
