(EMAILWIRE.COM, August 31, 2007 ) Branson, MO -- Nick Fowler of Glenwood, Arkansas, won the 2007 Auctioneers World Championship in Branson, Mo., in August.Fowler posted the highest average score of 94.75 through the two rounds of competition, taking the winning purse of $10,000 cash, the 2007 World Champion Auctioneer Buckle andTrophy.Runner-up was Casey Enlow of Oklahoma. Less than two points separated Fowler and Enlow. Fowler also finished in top 20 in the International Auctioneers Championship in San Diego in July. In 2004 he won the Arkansas State Bid Calling Championship. Fowler is a second generation auctioneer. His dad, David Fowler, has been an auctioneer since 1960 and is the co-owner of Sulphur Springs Livestock Auctions in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Nick is President of Fowler Auctioneers Inc., a real estate and personal property auction company based in Glenwood, Ark., where he resides with his wife, Rachel, and children, Ty, Bailey and Drew."I love the business and had a great time in the competition.
