This single-centre prospective study was presented in accordance with the STROBE Reporting Checklist and registered in the UMIN Registry (UMIN000016006, 19/12/2014). It was conducted in accordance with principles of the Declaration of Helsinki (revised 2013), and was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Joetsu General Hospital (J-77).
