(Medical-NewsWire.com, October 20, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA- Hotel Loyalty’ program members will receive access to faster security in the country, according to Loews Hotels & Resorts.
The New York based company made the announcement Monday that members of its YouFirst Platinum loyalty program will have a $100 application fee paid by the company to allow them through speedier checks.
The offer is extended to the 2,400 current members of the program. The program is set to run for 60 days. Lowes hotel officials stated they might consider expanding the convenience to new members.
The fee that the company is paying is a Global Entry, a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol initiative that speeds up international travelers’ process as they enter a country.
Travelers who enrolled in Global Entry are registered for PreCheck, which allows pre-screened frequent travelers to zip past some airport screenings. Those who qualify are not only frequent flyers, but considered low-risk and have volunteered background information.
The TSA PreCheck is available at 25 airports, and is intended for frequent travelers to cut down on overall travel-related time spent in airports. Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air, United, and U.S. are all involved in the program.
