The Medisoft Mobile Medical iPhone App allows users of the Medisoft Medical Billing Software Network Professional program connect their medical practice database to an iPhone or iPad device.
After the connection is setup, users can then view their schedules, and also enter a medical electronic superbill that contains patient info, procedures performed, diagnoses assigned, and any medical facility and modifiers to be sent to the "unprocessed transactions" section of the Medisoft Network Professional Medical Practice Management Software Program. Users can also add hyperlinks to the superbill to take them to ePrescribing websites; eligibility checking website, or patient education websites.

The process to start using the app is quite simple says Selent. The user simply downloads the free App from the App Store. When first stating the app, it will ask for two fields of information, the API Key and API Code. These can be generated from the Medisoft Network Professional software program under HELP, Medisoft Mobile. Before connecting, the user will also need to setup a 4 digit security code in Medisoft under Security Setup.
Once the user is connected, they will be able to view the schedule for the day. When selecting an existing appointment, the user will be able to see specifics about the patient and appointment. Then they can also enter a medical electronic superbill to enter the charges and diagnoses for the patient. When the encounter form is submitted, it shows up in Medisoft Network Professional under Unprocessed transactions, where the medical biller will be able to review it for correctness before allowing it to post to the patient chart.
