Trend - Seniors Want To Live In Their Homes Longer

(Medical-NewsWire.com, July 01, 2013 ) Dallas, TX -- Martin Senior Care Services has lowered the price of the flagship medical alert system by over 30%. This standard medical alert system is designed to provide client access to emergency medical help with the touch of a button. This provides seniors safety and security to live at home instead of nursing care facilities.

The standard medical alert system service includes free shipping, free activation, unlimited usage and a month-to-month agreement that can be cancelled at any time for any reason.

There are no charges in advance. The cost is one low monthly fee that is charged to a credit card, debit card or an automatic withdraw from a checking account.

The senior emergency care system comes with either a necklace or wrist pendant that is waterproof, has a range to about 300 feet and can easily work through walls and floors.

When the pendant is pressed, the system uses the patient's home phone to call a private 800 number to a 24x7 Response Care Center in Ohio. There, Emergency Care Specialists talk with patients to determine if there is an emergency situation and then call appropriate family members or emergency responder. Help can be on the way within a few seconds of pressing the button.

Clients get a choice on who they want called first - either the client provided contact list or local emergency responders. While the emergency responders are on the way to the client's home address, the Emergency Care Specialist will communicate any patient medical conditions, allergies and/or history provided in the Patient Care Plan to the first responders to help accelerate the care of the senior. After emergency responders are dispatched, all of the must-notify individuals from the client provided contact list are called.

The Response Center currently provides medical alert services to over 100,000 seniors today.
