BPA is a chemical used in the manufacturing of certain plastics since the 1960s and there are a few reasons why you should be using water bottles & food containers that are BPA Free.
Exposure to BPA has certain health concerns with some studies linking it to having an effect on the prostate gland as well as neurological and developmental issues. It's worth stressing however that there is a lack of research in this area and these studies are not yet conclusive and research is still ongoing.
