CNN did a little research on it and found that it is part of a rehab racket, a pattern of fraud bt rehab clinics that collect government funding for such agencies, but never actually use the money to help the poor and addicted.
However, CNN’s Center for Investigative Reporting found that once opened, the bad clinics are rarely ever shut down, causing Drug Medi-Cal $94 million dollars in the last two fiscal years for 56 clinics in Florida that have shown signs of deception or questionable billing practices.
In the end, clients who are in serious need of help are advised to talk to their family physicians and, if applicable, their probation officers to find support that is legitimately practicing as a counseling service.
