However, in an independent analysis conducted earlier this year, a Ballena Nelle soft gel capsule was analysed by a consumer who reported an EPA content of 437mg and DHA content of 325mg. The concentration promised on the label is 400 mg of EPA and 300mg for DHA per softgel.

The Food and Drug Administration has stated that omega-3 fish oils may reduce the risk of heart disease but this research indicates there is still much to learn about how they work.
