The main benefits cited include high levels of essential fatty acids which have the effect of nourishing and repairing damaged skin.
The essential fatty acids include poly-unsaturated fatty acids (oleic acid and cis-linoleic acid and α-linolenic acid) and saturated fatty acids (palmitic acid).
