Putting an End to Child Slavery in the Malian Mines

BLING - Preview

(Medical-NewsWire.com, January 11, 2015 ) San Francisco, CA -- Award winning Director of the hit film Gold of Dangers has announced a new project. Moctar Menta, a young photographer, designer and filmmaker with a Masters Degree in "Multimedia" from the Conservatory of Art and Multimedia Balla Fasseke Kouyate of Bamako; is making a film to help save the young minors in Africa. The documentary depicts the horrors of children's artisanal gold mining in Mali with all of its associated dangers, including a variety of anatomical strains abnormal for young children to procure. With the help of Lesky Draba, as photo director and François Tembely as his mining advisor.

This all-star team is getting together to create a new documentary called "Bling - The Minor Miners" currently on Indiegogo. The film, aims to explore the high demand for gold, the export to Western and Middle Eastern countries, and the effect it has had on child labor and exploitation as reported by Human Rights Watch. The reason for this documentary is simple: these children's lives are at stake.

In order to create this documentary Menta needs two things: basic funding for crew, staff and equipment. And of course, the connections required to make this film a reality. He needs everyone to come out and support this cause. Sign up for an interview if you have something to offer the film or help make a connection that will enrich this documentary. And for those who cannot help with either, he knows just how far a Facebook "Like" or "Share" can travel.

With support, these children may be able to go on and live a normal life. But it can't be done without the help and collaboration of the international community. Be a part of the solution and bring these children back into a safe environment. Partner with us today by becoming a sponsor, consider a donation, or share with us on Facebook.

The campaign is seeking to raise $25,000 to create the documentary "Bling - The Minor Miners". Any amount will be much appreciated. To know more about the campaign, visit us at https://www.indiegogo.com/project/preview/c3e2506c

Those interested are free to contact Moctar Menta if they would like to contribute in other ways or need further information. They would love to hear from anyone who would like to participate.
