Company Goes Into Why Caffeine Deserves A Look For Supposed Weight Loss Properties

(Medical-NewsWire.com, February 16, 2015 ) Reno, NV -- As coffee and tea are already consumed in American society on a regular basis, it might seem absurd for a health company to actually attempt to explain why people should pay more attention to their shared compound. This is what the Harper-Jones Obesity Management Institute decided to do though as Caffeine is one of the ingredients in their product – LevoSlim.

To say that coffee is a phenomenon in the western world would be an understatement. It pervades American culture, much like how the internet has become the norm, even on a global scale. Still, Harper-Jones argues that there is much more to caffeine than helping coffee lovers get a good start to their day, especially where weight loss is concerned.

Neil Carver, a spokesperson from the institute, attempted to shed some light on the views of Harper-Jones with regards to the merits of caffeine as a weight loss ingredient.

Carver starts off by providing some basic information about the substance in question, "Caffeine is an alkaloid that's found in several organic sources like coffee and tea. Depending on the source and the strain, caffeine levels differ along with the effects that come from those sources since other substances can be included in the mix."

Listing some of the benefits of caffeine consumption ranging from the obvious to ones that are less so, the institute ultimately lands on the part where it has a stake in. Stating that the use of caffeine as a widespread method of weight loss is a "relatively new concept", Carver explains that the substance is only one of the latest in a long list of items that have sprouted due to the growth of the health movement over the last three decades.

"As a weight loss aid," Carver elaborates, "caffeine's value lies on its ability to help induce Thermogenesis as well as to help in reducing appetite. Caffeine has appetite-suppressing properties that can help people cut down on food intake so that there's less fat coming in. At the same time, there's also the probability of boosting metabolism so that calories are burned faster."

Even with such properties in its arsenal however, Carver stresses that Harper-Jones mixed caffeine with other supposedly powerful ingredients for a reason, and that coffee lovers should not simply expect their daily doses of the rejuvenating brew to solve their dilemma regarding their weight.
