The bottle itself is made of clear glass. It is mostly see-through yet it has a bit of a wavy texture. Phillips states that to use the bottle a person adds their oil of choice in to the glass bottle usually with an eye-dropper or pipette, which is a light-duty form of an eye-dropper. Once the oils are in the bottle a person inserts the roller ball assembly seating it tightly in to the bottle. The user than inverts the bottle and rolls the ball assembly directly on to the skin in any particular area of the body the user desires. When enough oil has covered the ball excess oil will then be applied to that area of the skin where the oil can then be absorbed in to the bloodstream.
