Fructose Intolerance May Cause Irritable Bowel Syndrome Says Study

(Medical-NewsWire.com, July 01, 2015 ) Phoenix, AZ -- One recent article of Daily Mail, posted June 8, 2015 cited a new research-based finding that talks about the possibility of getting Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) due to eating excessive fruit. "Fruits contain high level of fructose, and when not digested or processed well internally, it could possible lead to malabsorption or intolerance," says Donald B. Opp, spokesperson of Purely Scientific, the company that promotes 3-in-1 Integrative Bowel Support.

According to the Daily Mail article, fructose malabsorption or intolerance may cause or trigger people to suffer from the visible symptoms of IBS, which may include stomach cramps, bloating, gas and bad breath.

Because of this recent study, Opp feels there is a need for people to consider trying their digestive supplement that contains premium digestive enzymes, probiotics and DPP-4, which are ingredients proven to clinically alleviate the impact of IBS.

The author of the posted Daily Mail scientific feature article, Lisa Buckingham, added also that, "Symptoms of fruit malabsorption are similar to other intolerances, such as lactose, and include abdominal pain, bloating, flatulence and diarrhea after eating culprit foods. It can affect both children and adults."

Clearly, Ms. Buckingham cited the main explanation why this form of intolerance may happen. "Fructose intolerance seems to occur as our bodies aren't especially well-designed to process large quantities of this type of sugar. The main sugar our body uses for energy is glucose, so we have dedicated proteins or transporters to help effectively absorb it into our system. Fructose doesn't have these transporters, though, so has to hitch a ride with the glucose transporters," she added.

Meanwhile, Purely Scientific plans to conduct a seminar workshop for people to understand important aspects about the causes, symptoms and effective practical remedies of digestive issues, like IBS.

The 3-in-1 Integrative Bowel Support is available on Amazon and is priced affordably for the potential consumers.
