Knee pain can be caused by a wide variety of issues ranging from overuse injuries such as tendonitis and bursitis, to more major injuries such as ligament tears and cartilage damage, as well as the constant pain and stiffness of arthritis. A knee brace is used to keep the knee cap and ligaments in alignment during ongoing injuries and recovery.
Up-4-It.fit's one-size knee brace (fits 10 - 18 inches measured around the knee cap) features 4 flexible lateral springs, two each side of the patella opening, which help to stabilize the knee while allowing controlled freedom of movement of the knee. The buttress around the patella opening, containing EVA padding, reinforces support to the patella and anterior knee.
The warming properties of neoprene improve blood circulation and help to soothe aching joints and muscles. The neoprene is also ventilated, which allows the skin to breathe and prevents a build up of sweat. It may be worn on either the left or right knee, and is suitable for men and women. The knee brace is secured in place with three adjustable velcro straps to ensure the right level of support and compression, and silicone along the top and bottom of the brace helps it grip the leg, preventing slippage.
