Blue Planet Organics Sodium Bentonite Clay Repairs Damaged Hair From Oxidizers

Indian Healing Clay Mask from Blue Planet Organics

(Medical-NewsWire.com, August 31, 2015 ) San Francisco, Ca -- When elements react with oxygen they will oxidize much like iron and water will create rusting. The normal environment of water, air and oxygen causes reactions to elements naturally. Water, sun and air exposure will accelerate oxidation of a person's hair. Many women and mostly older men color treat hair, and if hair is heated and light is added then this will damage the hair. Doctors say that any exposure to light such as the sun will slowly damage and age the hair and skin. Additionally, oxidizers like chlorine in pools will discolor the hair, damage the cuticles and natural hair proteins. Chlorine will leave hair feeling gummy and straw like when dry. Chlorine will alter the electrical charge on minerals in the hair thus causing the minerals to bond to the hair which damages it and discolors it.

Blue Planet Organics said there are other major oxidizers which are common today. Peroxide is a bleaching agent used in salons to remove pigments from the hair to cause a blonde or white effect on the hair. Also, neutralizers are used in perming to relax the hair and lock in the bonds of the hair proteins. Both of these actions damage the hair and will make it dry and brittle.

Blue Planet Organics indicated that bentonite clay is a natural gentle way to repair this type of damaged hair. Once sodium bentonite is hydrated then the molecular components changes to produce a negative charge. Most toxins, and impurities have a positive charge so this interaction and the natural swelling of the clay starts to remove impurities and reversing the damage from chlorine pools, and salon treated hair. Sodium bentonite once hydrated swells up to 18 times from its dry state. Blue Planet Organic indicated that once these impurities are removed and thoroughly clean by the clay then the hair will have better moisture retention, and its natural curling pattern will occur again. Bentonite clay also has over 70 different forms of trace minerals that are left in the hair and are beneficial to the hair and follicles.

Blue Planet Organics suggested a simple hair and facial mask to help cure and repair the hair and skin. This recipe can be done at the same time for the hair and face together or just the hair. Add eight tablespoons of bentonite clay, two tablespoons of honey, ½ cup of apple cider vinegar, two tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel, 1/4 cup of coconut cream and mix all together in a plastic or ceramic bowl and spoon as metals will deactivate the clay. Stir together for 5 to 10 minutes and add water if needed to get a slightly watery consistency to un-washed hair. Add to hair in sections by grabbing strands and covering each strand section until entire hair is coated. A person can add to the face also if desired. Place a plastic hair cap over the head and leave for 30 to 40 minutes, but leave on the face for 10 to 20 minutes. Then rinse the hair (and face) thoroughly until all the clay is gone, and condition hair as normal as there will not be a need to use shampoo. The company said this is a great way to bring back a person's hair to its normal state from natural and salon oxidizers. A person can learn more about sodium bentonite clay by typing Nettohome on Amazon search or Blue Planet Organics in Google or Bing search engines.
