The hospital conducted a research on the effectiveness of using simple strategies to cure bedwetting. Dr. Caldwell and her team reviewed sixteen published studies involving 1,600 children. Half of these kids and their parents engaged in simple interventions such as fluid retention before bedtime, rewards for dry nights, and taking children to the toilet after they slept. Initial results show that none of these simple strategies worked better than the other. Meanwhile, alarm training worked more effectively than simple strategies.
