Cochran Firm Reports on the Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association of Memphis, Tennessee

(Medical-NewsWire.com, August 21, 2012 ) Memphis, TN -- Founded in 1968 to find a solution for the poverty and racial division of Memphis, the Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association (MIFA) works to unite the Memphis community and address the challenges of poverty. Through their three main focus areas, MIFA provides services and programs for seniors, families in crisis and teens. The goal of each program is to help individuals sustain their independence, transform their lives and prepare for success. MIFA’s programs and services include:

Companions are supervised and assigned by local Memphis agencies. To be eligible for this program, companions must be over 55 years of age and complete a 40-hour pre-service training.
