The improved SANYO ultralow freezers provide increased energy savings while minimizing the carbon footprint throughout the laboratory environment without compromising performance based on the per unit box capacity.

They also maximize lab space by utilizing a smaller footprint for high density storage, which allows for minimized HVAC loads in facilities and emit less heat into the laboratory, minimizing air conditioning costs by box capacity by up to 25%. Testing concluded that the SANYO MDF-U73VC was 25% better on annual CO2 emissions per box capacity than a leading competitive unit and 25% less than a leading competitor on total annual operating costs for heating and cooling per box capacity. A leading university case study was also conducted on actual ROI cost savings from biomedical manufacturers, concluding SANYO ultralow freezers offer highly competitive attributes for energy efficiency with 25% less total cost, greatly lowering their impact on the environment.
