(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 22, 2012 ) Minneapolis, MN -- Dr. John Woell from Dental Health Care Center recently traveled to Gris Gris, Haiti, as part of a team of 2 dentists and 5 other medical/dental providers to perform preventative dental care.
They treated 259 children in K-6 school and 12 teachers. Only one of these children had ever seen a dentist before. "They were very good children, who received exams, sealants, and fluoride to prevent decay. Going there also really makes one appreciate how lucky we are to live in the United States," says Dr. Woell.
