Health Insurance Leads Overview from Next Wave Marketing Strategies
(Medical-NewsWire.com, July 21, 2012 ) Irvine, CA - Online marketing services and insurance leads provider Next Wave Marketing Strategies discussed the potential effects of the controversial federal health law, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) on health insurance companies. The law, known informally all over the states as ObamaCare, has been decreed by the Democrat president upon his stance in 2010, requiring adults who are not under an employer or sponsored insurance to maintain a health care coverage or otherwise pay as penalty.

This provision has been dubbed as the “individual mandate,” which greatly affects adult workers who are unable to pay for costly insurance plans.

The PPACA has made great waves upon its formation, where 28 states, various organizations and even private citizens filed their own legal actions to the federal court. Their lawsuits were initiated to challenge the constitutionality of ObamaCare, which deliberately caused a scare among Americans; especially those within the middle range income families, who will be hit the hardest.

However, on June 28, 2012, the Supreme Court held up this mandate by a vote of 5-4, ensuring its full nationwide implementation in 2014. This could make aged leads and other internet leads more important than ever for insurance companies.

Its economic effect on the insurance companies is still unclear, although the government has promised to offer subsidies to help control premium costs. The insurance market has been in a gloomy state since the recession started, and agents fear this may be more bad news for the health insurance market.

“The news, though, is not all bad for insurance companies,” says Troy Wilson, President of Next Wave Marketing Strategies (http://www.NextWaveMarketingStrategies.com). “Due to the PPACA mandate, many healthy young adults will be required to purchase at least a minimum amount of coverage. Because these clients generally do not require too much care, their business will become vital to an insurance agency’s bottom line. This will open new opportunities for health insurance, thus requiring insurance companies to engage in more aggressive lead prospecting.”

“This is also a crucial time for finding the right insurance leads,” Wilson adds. With health insurance coverage required for every worker, companies will be competing heavily to get as many of these into their book of business as possible. It is a crucial time for insurance companies to get momentum in their marketing plan, especially online.

Next Wave Marketing Strategies’ online storefront, Aged Leads Store (http://www.AgedLeadStore.com) has been ensuring insurance agencies have access 24/7 to a continuous, massive influx of weekly prospects to keep their sales pipelines full.
