(Medical-NewsWire.com, August 14, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA -- By many, Paul Ryan’s plan is considered the most sweeping effort to reduce the fiery improvement in the Health Sector, mainly in Medicaid and Medicare; the two pillars of Great American Society.
According to usatoday.com, Republican Party’s budget plan is only going to add to the people’s problems. Medicare, a health care program run by the government, adds a beneficiary to its roll every eight seconds.
Under the new law, the program is clearly going to offer receivers less or cost them more as it will be mainly run by private insurers. Ryan, a favorite of conservatives, wants his plan to start in 2023.
"People are ready for an adult conversation. They're ready for the truth. They're ready for solutions no matter whether they agree on every detail or not," Ryan told USA TODAY in an interview back in 2010. "This is no longer the third rail it was once thought to be."
"Our goal here is to leave our children and our grandchildren with a debt-free nation," Ryan said last year. "At stake is America."
Medicaid, the other health insurance program that covers more than 50 million low income people all across the country, can also face up to $750 billion cuts over the next ten years.
The source further added that Obama’s health insurance expansion program that came into effect in 2012 could also be revoked. To put limits on growth, other support programs such as food stamps will also be turned into block grants.
In some ways, the proposed modifications can greatly harm Republican’s reputation as they are taking an enormous political risk by striking at the heart of popular health care plans such as Medicaid and Medicare that are viewed.
Millions of families that view these programs as backbones of stability could face severe consequences. Furthermore, people with disabilities and seniors will also have to pay a lot more to get best medial coverage.
